ARROWHEAD EXPRESSES AN INTEREST TO ACQUIRE EMIRA27 July, 2016
Arrowhead Properties ('Arrowhead'), the South African JSE listed Real Estate Investment Trust, ('REIT') announced today that it has made an expression of interest to acquire all or the majority of the issued share capital of Emira Property Fund Limited ('Emira') by means of a scheme of arrangement subject to the satisfactory conclusion of a due diligence investigation in respect of Emira's forecast income for the 12 months ending 30 June 2017.

Shareholders are advised that Arrowhead has addressed a non-binding expression of interest to the board of directors of Emira detailing Arrowhead's interest, subject to the satisfactory conclusion of a due diligence investigation in respect of Emira's forecast income for the 12 months ending 30 June 2017, in acquiring all or the majority of the issued share capital of Emira (the "proposed transaction").

Arrowhead, the South African JSE listed REIT, has declared a dividend of 20,76 cents per share for the three months ended 31 March 2016. This is an increase of 11% on the same quarter the previous year. This, together with the dividend of 20,03 cents for the previous September quarter, represents a dividend of 40,79 cents per share; growth of 9,52% from the previous year.
